Château Monbrison Bouquet de Monbrison Margaux 2015
Chateau Monbrison, founded in 1749, is part of the Chateau dArsac estate, belonging to the wealthy Segur family. The vines are 40 years old, with many planted in 1963. The vineyard covers 21 hectares, with 15.5 hectares in the Margaux appellation and the rest in the Haut Medoc. In 2012, Chateau Monbrison renovated their vat room and barrel aging cellars, adding smaller, stainless steel fermentation vats for better vinification. The wine pairs well with red meats such as beef, lamb, wild game (e.g. deer and venison); as well as poultry.
