Chateau Cantenac Brown 3eme Grand Cru Classe, Margaux 2016
A powerful fragrance of pencil lead, sous-bois, boysenberry, and blackberry characterizes the 2016 Cantenac Brown. These aromatics have a daring quality. Round in texture and with gripping tannins, the palate is medium-bodied. Having a somewhat greater weight than the Brane-Cantenac, it has excellent finish persistence and structure. It goes nicely with lamb, beef, and wild game (venison, deer), as well as chicken.
