Chateau Lucia, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2008
Chateau Lucia, owned by Michel Bortolussi, produces Saint-Émilion wines primarily from Merlot and Cabernet Franc. These wines have a rich, mouth-drying tannic structure, balanced by plum and black cherry fruit, chocolate, sweet spice, and savory tobacco and cedar characteristics. The grapes are harvested by hand, sorted twice, and fermented in small oak tanks. Lucia is best paired with classic meat dishes, Asian dishes, and hearty fish courses.
