Château Ormes de Pez - AOC Saint-Estèphe 2015
Since the 18th century, Château Ormes de Pez has been a part of the Médoc landscape. The estate, which borders the hamlet of Pez and is situated west of Saint-Estèphe, got its name from a beautiful forest of elm trees that is no longer there. After Château Lynch-Bages, Château Ormes de Pez is the second property that the Cazes family purchased in 1939.
True to its terroir, Château Ormes de Pez has a characteristic harmonic spice taste. Wine enthusiasts like its richness, grace, and well-balanced structure. Its strong, full, and superb tannic structure promotes maturing with elegance. Dark red violet in colour. On the nose there is a scent of ripe currant, red berry and herbal notes.
FOOD PAIRINGS: This wine pairs well with red meats, poultry and wild game.
