This grand Pauillac property delivers awesome flavours in 2015. You can't help but enjoy this magnificently ripe, sturdy, smoky claret. It has the cedary Pauillac characteristic. The tannins are pleasingly silky, and there is tremendous balance. Creamy blackberries and a precise shape, lead to a fruit-dominant finish hat tingles in the mouth. It needs some bottle age, but it follows the tradition of great wine from this leading estate. It's rich and powerful, but elegant and sweet.
Good intensity of black and red plum notes with hints of stewed tea, menthol and cassis plus an earthy undercurrent of underbrush and fungi. Medium-bodied, the palate offers plenty of juicy fruit with a chewy frame and a refreshing lift to the finish, making for a great everyday quaffing red!
Layered and juicy 2015 with currants, light chocolate and cedar character. It’s full-bodied, round-textured and very pretty. Extremely long and flavorful. So friendly and bright.
The stunning, ripe dark berries and plums on the nose are attractively dressed and deliver a wealth of assertively rich and juicy dark-fruit flavors on the palate, in balanced and elegant yet powerful style. The best Réserve de la Comtesse for some time. Second wine of Château Pichon-Lalande.
