Chateau Lagrange 3eme Grand Cru Classé, Saint Julien 2015
Tasting Notes:
Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Lagrange gives up fragrant notes of chocolate-covered cherries, cassis and blackberry pie with touches of violets, forest floor, truffles and cigar box. Medium-bodied with plenty of intense black fruit and firm, grainy tannins, it has a racy line and long, mineral-laced finish.
Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste 5eme Grand Cru Classe, Pauillac 2009
Tasting Notes:
Ch. Grand-Puy-Lacoste is an exceptional wine in 2009. Elegant, concentrated yet fresh, this has a delicious basket of red and black fruit flavours and wonderful mineral precision. Sweet ripe tannins and a long, persistent savoury finish dominate the palate. Absolutely charming, this could be one of the best buys of the vintage. Sensational.
Chateau Gazin, Pomerol 2015
Tasting Notes:
The 2015 Gazin has a perfumed bouquet with layers of black cherry, raspberry coulis and truffle scents, more welcoming and sensual than the wines a decade ago from barrel when they intermittently felt under-ripe. There is none of that here for sure. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit on the entry. There is excellent structure here, a masculine Gazin with plenty of grip, counterbalanced by abundant tertiary, tobacco-tinged black fruit.

Chateau Fayat, Pomerol 2014
Tasting Notes:
This wine has an intense bouquet with bold black cherry, blueberry and iodine scents, a little ostentatious. The palate is medium-bodied with a orbet-like entry, almost Burgundy like in terms of tannic structure with vivid red cherry and kirsch notes. There is a sense of charm here that was perhaps missing in previous vintages of Fayat.
Chateau Gloria, Saint Julien 2014
Tasting Notes:
A deep red violet color. A jammy nose of red fruits. Notes of licorice and vanilla. On entering the mouth it is silky with an exceptional melting quality. Highly precise tannins with exceptional elegance and length.
Dame Gaffeliere, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2014
Tasting Notes:
Bright ruby red colour with pinkish trimmings at the edges with medium to long legs. Very warmth vintage especially on the right bank therefore eucalyptus, barnyard and forest floor are prominent with almost no fruits being detected on the nose.
